Barrie G. Ellis

President & CEO

Barrie Ellis

Barrie Ellis founded Four Point Solutions Ltd. (4Point) in 2003 after recognizing a market opportunity for creating and delivering enterprise-level document-centric applications based on Adobe’s enterprise solutions. Before starting 4Point Barrie held positions at Montera Corporation, where he was the Vice President of Professional Services, and Infinity Technology Services (ITS) Corporation, where he was Vice President of Solution Engineering. Prior to this, Barrie held various senior management roles within JetForm, including Director of Technology Strategy. With over 25 years working internationally for various organizations, Barrie has developed a strong sense of the nuts and bolts of delivering highly complex technical solutions. Barrie’s understanding of the essentials of successful solution delivery, coupled with his assessment of market opportunities, has made 4Point the success it is. As the President and CEO, Barrie has taken the fledgling company from start-up to a world-class organization headquartered in Ottawa, with additional field offices in Florida, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., and European headquarters in Dublin, and made it Adobe’s leading solution partner.

Cheryl Carroll

VP, Corporate Services & Customer Care

Cheryl Carroll

Cheryl joined 4Point in 2007 as Vice President of Corporate Services and Customer Support, bringing with her over 20 years of experience in operations, project, and resource management. Cheryl started her career working for the Canadian Federal Government where she was arguably the first electronic form client, managing a team of 25 resources in defining, developing, testing, and implementing an automated procurement system. From there, it was a logical step to working for JetForm and then, after its acquisition, Adobe. Cheryl’s history of being a customer of e-form solutions ensures that she knows the ins and outs of what customers may be looking for in a solution provider. And her extensive experience developing effective programs with repeatable best practices ensures that customers find that with 4Point.

Tom Hicks

VP, Strategy

Tom Hicks

Tom Hicks initially started with 4Point in 2005 in an advisory capacity, but in 2008 joined the executive team as Vice President of Strategy. One of the founders of JetForm, Tom is uniquely experienced with the history and development of document-centric solutions and providing those solutions to customers. As a result he is strongly positioned to provide a strategic role in 4Point’s own growth as one of the leading providers of Adobe’s document-centric enterprise solutions. Tom’s career with software solutions started with Systemhouse (SHL) Limited and from there he formed his own consulting company, Indigo Software (which became JetForm), to address the market need to print business forms on laser printers. JetForm went public in 1993 and then was bought by Adobe in 2002. Tom’s assessment of market development over the years has provided an important supportive layer to 4Point’s own history and development.
